Role Description

The Maintenance Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Livingston. In this role, the Maintenance Assistant supports the upkeep of laboratory and office facilities, including routine building maintenance, minor repairs, and basic housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. The role includes assisting with equipment maintenance and minor building tasks, conducting preventive checks, reporting issues, and coordinating with external contractors when necessary.. The Maintenance Assistant adheres to health and safety procedures, and maintains accurate records of maintenance activities. The position works closely with the wider team, responding to maintenance requests promptly and supporting operational continuity across the site.

Qualifications
