If so, we want to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a well-established Service Centre team based in Wellingborough. This is a varied and administration-heavy role, working closely with engineers and warehouse staff to process customer returns and ensure the smooth running of the service department.
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday β Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Β£26,000 β Β£29,000 per annum (DOE) plus company benefits and training development.
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Receive and process all customer returns accurately and efficiently.
- Fulfil warranty requirements by issuing credits or replacement products in line with procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding warranty claims and spare parts.
- Provide general after-sales support, including preparing quotations and answering queries.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems with relevant data.
- Assist in developing and maintaining departmental processes.
- Support reporting and communication within the team.
- Undertake manual handling tasks safely, using pallet trucks and mechanical handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and workshop.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- Previous experience in administration, ideally within a warehouse, service, or logistics environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
- Be organised, accurate, and able to prioritise their workload.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player.
- Be willing to work in a warehouse-based environment (temperature changes, some bending and lifting).
- Experience using Sage 200 is desirable but training can be provided.
