Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking to work for an exciting business within the automotive industry to develop and promote quality standards across the board? Impact is partnered with an Engineering business that prides itself on delivering high-end products across the globe. We are looking for an ambitious and determined Quality Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be a hands-on position working closely with Quality Inspectors and Design teams to improve Quality standards across the business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, who has developed from a Quality background.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Salary and Compensation: £60,000 per annum plus annual bonus.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with quality inspectors to investigate and mitigate quality issues
  • Liaise with design teams to understand quality issues and implement changes
  • Speak regularly with customers and deal with any quality standards
  • Contact and update suppliers regarding requirements
  • Ensure all in-house systems and procedures are kept up to date and improved
  • Develop metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Report details to the wider management team and represent the department
  • Stay up to date on changes that may affect the supply and demand of products and materials
  • Lead regular meetings with the quality team
  • Support Quality Inspectors
  • Work closely with the design team
