We're recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality inspection who takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inspecting materials, components, and finished products at various stages of production
  • Using measurement equipment such as callipers, micrometres, plug gauges, and FARO Arm
  • Conducting quality checks including crack testing and weld inspections
  • Carrying out weld section testing and analysing results
  • Managing inspection of incoming and outgoing goods, including stock sorting
  • Supporting sample approvals (first-off, mid-off, last-off as required)
  • Recording inspection data using systems such as Safety Culture
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards including ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001
  • Supporting the investigation and resolution of quality issues
  • Liaising with internal teams to maintain production and quality standards
  • Using Factory Master to release or reject parts
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance role
  • Experience using precision measurement equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset
