Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Impact are partnered with a well-established engineering business in Daventry who pride themselves on delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are now looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to join the team on a 3-month FTC.
This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of production, ensuring targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm
Location: Daventry
Pay: £35,000
Contract: 3-month FTC
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the shopfloor
- Ensure all staff are equipped with works orders, SOPs, and required resources
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment at all times
- Allocate labour and resources to meet production plans and targets
- Monitor team performance to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Ensure all products are correctly identified and located on the shopfloor
- Conduct stock checks and monitor production indicators
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve production and planning issues
- Work closely with operatives to support output and quality standards
- Challenge non-conformance and implement corrective actions
- Report machinery breakdowns and liaise with maintenance teams
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and productivity
- Ensure dispatch deadlines and internal delivery processes are met
- Promote high standards of behaviour and performance across the team
