Impact Recruitment are looking for two permanent trainee production operatives to work for a local business who offer great career development opportunities. This role requires no experience; you just need a great attitude and the ability to drive to the site. The position involves full training. This is a night shift vacancy that involves training on a day shift for several months.
Locations: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £13.48 – £17.53 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm for training; Monday to Friday 10:00 pm – 6:00 am once trained.
Pay: Day shift: £13.48 Night shift (once trained): £17.53
Location: Northampton (rural area).
Daily Duties:
- Operating and using manufacturing equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is always kept clean
- Confirming paperwork and ensuring accuracy
- Working to strict procedures and processes
- Using raw materials to manufacture products
- Ensuring completed jobs are quality checked
- Completing paperwork as required
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
Skills And Knowledge Required:
- Production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Excellent self‑motivation
- Good IT skills and literacy
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Must be able to drive to get to site
