About The Business

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable organisation with a strong presence in its sector. Known for delivering excellent service to customers across the UK, this business prides itself on its collaborative culture, supportive team environment and commitment to delivering high standards. You’ll be joining an experienced and friendly team where training, teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, problem‑solving and working in a role where no two days are quite the same.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for managing quote requests generated by engineers, sourcing and identifying parts when required and ensuring that all information is accurately recorded throughout the process. The role combines administration, customer service and coordination responsibilities, requiring someone who is organised, detail‑focused and comfortable communicating with suppliers, engineers and customers alike. Whilst the primary focus will be supporting the quotations function, you’ll also play an important role within the wider Parts team, providing support during busy periods and holiday cover when required. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, taking ownership of your workload and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing system-generated quotation requests from engineers
  • Identifying and sourcing parts using online resources and supplier information
  • Liaising with suppliers via telephone and email to obtain pricing and availability information
  • Entering purchase orders accurately onto internal systems
  • Processing deliveries and receipting parts when they arrive
  • Updating engineer job cards with comprehensive and accurate notes throughout the process
  • Handling telephone enquiries from customers and engineers
  • Providing updates and information regarding parts and quotations
  • Supporting the wider Parts team when required
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high levels of attention to detail at all times

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in an organised and structured environment and takes pride in producing accurate work.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can work independently when needed but also enjoys being part of a team.

  • Friendly and supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist department
