Reporting to the UK HR Manager, you will be supporting the UK business's HR operations and collaborating on projects within EMEA.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire (NN4)

Duration: 12-14-month maternity contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing HR administration across onboarding, contract changes, promotions, leavers and offboarding
  • Preparing and maintaining employment documents – contracts, addendums, offer letters and exit paperwork
  • Keeping HR systems and employee records accurate, up to date and audit-ready
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee HR queries around policies, benefits and processes
  • Coordinating with wider HR teams (HRBPs, Talent, C&B) to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Tracking probation periods, fixed‑term contracts and key employment milestones
  • Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies
  • Supporting audits, data checks and HR reporting (headcount, attrition, leave, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in HR administration or HR operations (CIPD ideal but not essential)
  • Solid understanding of local employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident using HR systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle or similar)
  • High attention to detail – you notice when things don't add up
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage time-sensitive transactions
