Description
Impact Recruitment are working with a client to recruit an experienced Exhibition Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. You'll be joining a well-established exhibition and display specialist, delivering high-quality bespoke exhibition stands and installations for clients across a variety of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical, hands-on background in carpentry, construction, fitting or a similar trade to join a creative and growing business where every project is different.

Salary
£14 - £17 per hour
£14.00-£17.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Flexibility is required for early starts, late finishes, overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and install bespoke exhibition stands to a high standard.
- Read and work accurately from technical and construction drawings.
- Carry out workshop preparation, assembly and bench work ahead of installations.
- Attend customer sites and exhibition venues across the UK to install and dismantle exhibition stands.
- Load and unload exhibition equipment, materials and components.
- Assist with the safe transportation and handling of exhibition equipment.
- Support the dismantling and breakdown of exhibition stands following events.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within the exhibition, display or events industry.
- Backgrounds in carpentry, construction, labouring, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, painting and decorating or similar trades will be also be considered.
- MUST have a UK Driving License
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Willingness to work long hours when required to support exhibition installation schedules.
- Flexible approach to early starts, late finishes, overnight stays and occasional weekend work.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
