Are you a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a fast‑paced production environment and takes pride in keeping heavy industrial machinery running safely and efficiently? We're recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established business based in Northampton. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial processing equipment, playing a key role in maximising uptime and supporting production demands.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across site machinery
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, repairs, and component replacement
- Complete electrical fault‑finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis (3‑phase systems)
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy‑duty processing equipment
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and disruption
- Carry out machinery modifications, adjustments, and improvements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised working environment
- Uphold and promote high Health & Safety standards at all times
