We're working with a well-established and growing business looking to add an experienced Accounts Assistant to their finance team.
Accounts Assistant (Payroll)

£28-33,000
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys getting involved in all aspects of finance, from payroll and reconciliations through to supporting month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive environment where your contribution will be valued and where there is opportunity to develop your skills further.
The Role
- Processing payroll, including deductions, payments and HMRC submissions
- Reconciling bank statements and company accounts
- Processing receipts and payments accurately
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Maintaining financial records and databases
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting with financial reporting and administrative tasks
- Liaising with internal teams and external contacts as required
What We're Looking For
- A minimum AAT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Payroll experience is essential
- At least 3 years' experience within an accounts position
- Experience using Xero accounting software & Sage Payroll is ideal
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
