Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a stable, full‑time role with early finishes and excellent benefits? We’re recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Daventry. Working within a final assembly environment, you’ll be responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies to precise production and quality standards, playing a key role in maintaining output and supporting continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out MIG welding to manufacture parts and assemblies in line with production schedules
- Work with TIG welding equipment where required (training/support available if needed)
- Prepare and set up welding tools and equipment
- Prepare parts for welding using machinery such as saws and sizers
- Manufacture components using jigs, fixtures, SOPs, and works orders
- Collaborate closely with the Quality team to maintain product and process standards
- Support works order tracking through shop floor data capture and ERP systems
- Operate tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (after training)
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and report any issues
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Support the development of new components when required
