Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Junior Project Engineer you will work alongside experienced engineers installing and supporting security and electrical systems on solar farm projects across the UK.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting with groundworks and small excavations
  • Installing poles, electrical boxes and system infrastructure
  • Supporting electrical wiring and Cat6/Cat7 cabling
  • Assisting with CCTV cameras and access‑control systems
  • Conducting site testing and commissioning activities
  • Helping identify and resolve faults on site
  • Supporting engineers with installation and system setup

What We're Looking For:

This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on work and site environments. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:

  • Construction or site labouring
  • Electrical mates or junior electricians
  • Telecoms / fibre / cabling installation
  • CCTV or security system installation
  • Groundworks or civils work

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and work outdoors
  • Comfortable with physical, practical work

Desirable:

  • CSCS or ECS card
  • Basic electrical knowledge
