Description: Impact Recruitment is partnered with an exciting business to recruit for a Graduate AutoCAD Designer to support the preparation and design of technical drawings. In this role, you will be critical for the success of project delivery and work closely with skilled CAD Technicians. The company is based in Northampton and you will be expected to work in the office.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, update, and produce architectural drawings (2D and 3D)
  • Assist in the preparation of planning application drawings and supporting documentation
  • Support the technical aspects of projects throughout all stages, including compliance with building regulations, and provide technical guidance
  • Attend project sites to produce accurate as-built drawings
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Assist in maintaining drawing standards and contributing to continuous improvement of processes
  • Work closely with a Senior CAD Technician and actively engage in training and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • A degree or experience in architectural drawings
  • Experience with software including AutoCAD or Revit
  • Flexibility to travel to sites when required
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and quality
