We are recruiting for a Trimmer / Trimming Assistant to join a friendly and well‑established automotive manufacturer based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with upholstery or trimming experience, but we are also very open to candidates with little or no experience who have a genuine desire to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Upholstery and trimming of automotive interior components, including seats and interior panels
- Working with materials such as leather, vinyl, carpet, and polyester
- Adhesive application and bonding processes
- Component assembly and fitting
- Finishing and quality inspection of completed products
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Working in line with company quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in upholstery, trimming, or a similar hands‑on role is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working within a production / manufacturing environment
- Interest in automotive or motorsport work is highly desirable
