Impact Recruitment are working on behalf of a reputable precision engineering manufacturer who are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Programmer on a permanent basis. This role offers technical challenge, variety, and long-term stability within a supportive working environment.

The Role

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, working across a range of complex and high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Working predominantly with HAAS controls
  • Setting and operating machines to produce precision components
  • Producing high-quality parts to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out tool changes, offsets, and first-off inspections
  • Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to production standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement within the machining process

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (milling background essential)
  • Strong online programming experience (offline training can be provided)
  • Experience working with complex, high-precision components
  • Background in motorsport, aerospace, or Formula 1-type components would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of parts from start to finish
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
