Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire

Pay: £13 - £15 per hour

Hours: Mon‑Thurs 8am‑5pm, Fri 8am‑1pm

We are recruiting for an Automotive Operative to join a friendly and well‑established automotive manufacturer in Daventry. This role is ideal for someone with upholstery or trimming experience, but we also welcome candidates with little or no experience who have a genuine desire to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Upholstery and trimming of automotive interior components, including seats and interior panels
  • Working with materials such as leather, vinyl, carpet, and polyester
  • Adhesive application and bonding processes
  • Component assembly and fitting
  • Finishing and quality inspection of completed products
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Working in line with company quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in upholstery, trimming, or a similar hands‑on role is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Good manual dexterity and practical skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Interest in automotive or motorsport work is highly desirable
