We are looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join a busy logistics operation in Wellingborough. This is a varied role focused on working directly with logistics carriers and transport providers to investigate delivery issues, resolve problems and keep orders moving.

The Role

  • Liaising with logistics carriers and transport providers to investigate failed, delayed, damaged or missing deliveries.
  • Arranging re-deliveries and progressing claims where required.
  • Investigating delivery discrepancies and following issues through to resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Managing proof of delivery information and supporting invoicing queries.
  • Working with internal teams, customers and external logistics partners to resolve delivery issues.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider logistics team.

About You

  • Previous experience dealing directly with logistics carriers or transport providers is essential.
  • Experienced within logistics, transport, distribution or supply chain administration.
  • Confident communicating with carriers by phone and email.
  • Comfortable investigating delivery problems and resolving issues.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office systems.
  • Detail-focused with a methodical approach to administration.
  • A good communicator who can work effectively with both internal teams and external providers.
