Are you an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator looking to work on high-quality, safety-critical components within a stable and supportive environment? We are recruiting for a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke seating products for the automotive sector, where precision and craftsmanship are key.
What you’ll be doing:
- Fabricating and welding a range of seating products and accessories
- Working primarily with tubular steel to produce high-quality assemblies
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Operating a variety of workshop machinery including saws, press brakes, tube benders, and drill presses
- Carrying out in-process quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
- Assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years experience in MIG welding
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience within fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
