Impact Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Technician to join our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Towcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual looking to develop their skills within a technically focused manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in the careful assembly, testing and preparation of precision instrumentation, ensuring every product meets the high standards expected by customers.

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week

Employment: Permanent

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire

What you'll be doing:

  • Assembling mechanical housings and electronic components.
  • Carrying out soldering as part of the assembly process.
  • Using hand tools and equipment to support production activities.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and recording test results.
  • Packing finished equipment ready for distribution.
  • Working closely and communicating effectively with colleagues throughout the production process.
  • Ensuring all products are assembled carefully and to the required quality standards.

  • Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, assembly or technical environment.
