Workshop Engineer – Plant Equipment\\n Location: Northamptonshire\\n Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum\\n Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts\\n Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent\\n\\nImpact Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading plant equipment company based in Northamptonshire. We are seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their dedicated team, working with a range of machinery including Telehandlers, Platform Lifts, and other plant machinery used for hire, sales, and repair.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nCarrying out service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of plant equipment.\\n\\nEnsuring all machinery is operating safely and efficiently before return to hire or sale fleet.\\n\\nFault-finding, both mechanical and electrical, on a variety of plant items.\\n\\nKeeping accurate service and maintenance records in line with company procedures.\\n\\nMaintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in the workshop.\\n\\nCandidate Requirements:\\n\\nProven experience working with plant equipment, particularly Telehandlers, Manitou, or similar machinery.\\n\\nAbility to diagnose faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.\\n\\nMust possess own tools suitable for plant repair work.\\n\\nGood understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.\\n\\nFull UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.\\n\\nWhat's on Offer:\\n\\nCompetitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000, depending on experience.\\n\\nRegular day shifts – no weekend work.\\n\\nOpportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the plant hire sector.\\n\\nSupportive team environment with ongoing development opportunities.\\n\\nIf you have a strong background in plant maintenance and are seeking a workshop-based role with stable hours, we would love to hear from you.\\n\\nTo apply, please submit your CV to Impact Recruitment or contact us directly for more information
