Are you experienced in processing end to end payroll? Are you an effective administrator with a good eye for detail? If this sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you ASAP!
Due to a retirement my client is looking to secure a new Payroll Officer to be responsible for processing their full payroll and provide support to the HR Director with some HR administration duties. You will be working in stunning offices and work for a company who truly values their people.
Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Officer include:
- Solely responsible for monthly payroll using Sage Payroll and their inhouse system
- Undertake all payroll activities such as pension, processing of starters, leavers, changes to terms and conditions of employment, overtime, attachment of earnings, adjustments etc.
- Dealing with all employee queries relating to Payroll, Time/Attendance and related systems.
- Ensure the timely and accurate issuing of payslips and other payroll generated documents such as P45's and P60's.
- Liaise with all departments, divisions and colleagues to collate all relevant payroll data for input monthly in line with strict deadlines.
- Creating and Maintaining Personnel Records and general HR administration including recruitment, contracts.
Skills and Experience required from the Payroll Officer include:
- Previous experience of processing end to end payroll is essential
- Competent in using Sage Payroll
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail.
- Ability to use own initiative with a can-do attitude.
- IT Literate including Excel and Word.
