Impact Recruitment are currently looking for a van driver to work for one of our clients in Northampton. You will be completing deliveries around the UK using one of their company vehicles. This is a temp to perm opportunity.
Applicants must be over the age of 21 due to insurance regulations.
Pay: £13.97 per hour
Location: Northampton NN3
Hours: 43.5 hours a week across Monday to Friday
Duties
- Supporting the warehouse team load items and boxes into vans
- Complete deliveries around the Midlands, Manchester, and Leeds area
- Delivery schedules will be pre-planned and followed
- Deliver items to customers and support with unloading of packages
- Complete delivery documents
- Driving a company vehicle safely
- Deliver to customers at specified times
Requirements
- Be friendly and have excellent customer service skills. You will be dealing directly with customers.
- Work shift patterns to meet the needs of our customers. Some like their deliveries early, some a little later in the day.
- Demonstrate flexibility. Sometimes you may need to move things around to meet the demands of customers.
- Be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communications.
- Have experience of multi-drop deliveries to variable destination points
- Be physically fit to support with manual handling and loading.
