We are looking for an Internal Account Manager with a solid background in B2B product sales and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone with previous commercial sales experience and the ability to manage and develop their own portfolio of customers. You will need to be a strong communicator who can build rapport, understand client needs, and identify opportunities to grow revenue within each account. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring they receive an exceptional level of service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Take a consultative approach to understanding customer requirements and ensure they receive the right products and solutions.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations and proposals, and send product samples.
  • Win and onboard new customers.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Handle daily enquiries, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Book meetings for the external sales team.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Keep CRM records up to date and track performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced in account management or B2B sales (ideally product-based).
  • Strong communicator capable of building rapport.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
  • Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365.

Additional Information:

  • Base salary: £40,000, up to £10,000 bonus, and profit sharing scheme.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
  • 100% office based, Northampton NN3.
