Most Account Manager roles are about keeping clients happy. This one is about helping them grow. An award-winning marketing agency known for creating campaigns that actually deliver results, not just look good on a PowerPoint. As the agency continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced Account Manager who can build strong client relationships, lead projects with confidence, and act as a trusted advisor rather than simply a go-between.

The Role

You'll take ownership of several key client accounts, becoming their first point of contact and a genuine extension of their business. Working closely with the agency's creative, content and digital teams, you'll manage campaigns from initial strategy through to delivery, ensuring everything is completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. A typical week could involve:

  • Meeting clients face-to-face and online to discuss campaign performance and future opportunities
  • Managing content marketing, PR and digital campaigns
  • Briefing internal teams and overseeing project delivery
  • Reviewing campaign performance, KPIs and reporting
  • Identifying new opportunities to improve results and add value
  • Managing the creation of content across websites, social media, PR and marketing materials
  • Supporting new business pitches and agency growth initiatives

This is a highly visible role where you'll be trusted to challenge ideas, bring fresh thinking and build long-term client partnerships.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys the client-facing side of agency life and thrives on building relationships. You'll likely have:

  • At least 5 years' experience within marketing, PR, communications or a similar client-facing agency environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience creating, editing or managing content
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to lead conversations and suggest new ideas
  • Degree-level education
  • A full UK driving licence

What's in it for You?

  • £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
  • 28 days holiday plus your birthday off
  • £1,000 annual training budget
  • Private health insurance after one year
  • Annual Christmas trip and regular team socials
  • Genuine opportunity to shape your career within an ambitious and growing agency.
