The company
Our client is a nationally recognised market leader in bespoke playscape design and installation. With 400+ projects delivered and a clear trajectory towards 600+, the business is in sustained growth, investing heavily in delivery capability and regional expansion. They work primarily within new build housing and public realm, creating engaging play environments for developers and local authorities across the UK.
The role
You'll take full ownership of playscape installation projects across Kent and the wider South East managing everything from pre-construction planning through to client handover. You'll be the go-to person for site, technical and delivery queries, working autonomously across multiple live projects at any one time. This is a field-based role with a weekly touchpoint at head office in Northamptonshire every Friday.
What you'll be doing
- Full lifecycle management of multiple playscape projects across the region
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all site, technical and delivery queries
- Coordinating subcontractors to protect programme deadlines and quality standards
- Carrying out pre-start, progress and completion inspections
- Maintaining all project documentation - RAMS, site reports, compliance records
- Leading formal handovers and completion sign-offs with clients and stakeholders
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
What you need
- Sector experience is essential, candidates without a background in playscapes, playground equipment or outdoor leisure will not be considered.
- Proven project management experience in playscapes, playground or outdoor leisure equipment
- Strong understanding of site-based construction delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and project costs
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East
