We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to join the team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, ensuring seamless installation of high-quality interiors across various sites.
Salary: £37,440
Location: Northampton (UK-wide)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Installation of high-quality furniture and interiors across new-build homes and commercial properties, ensuring all work meets our exacting standards.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Production Teams, the Creative Team, and Onsite Installation Teams to coordinate and execute installations efficiently.
- Identify and resolve onsite challenges using a proactive and problem-solving approach, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules.
- Liaise with site teams and clients, providing clear communication and delivering professional customer service to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
- Work as part of a two-person team, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficiency in installations.
- Use company-supplied large equipment for installations while providing your own hand tools (with a company financial contribution towards personal tool purchases).
- Maintain a high standard of site safety and adherence to health & safety regulations, following industry best practices.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Furniture installation experience, preferably within kitchens, bedrooms, or living spaces.
- Previous experience and/or qualifications in carpentry, joinery, or woodworking.
- Experience with laminate flooring and carpet installation is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and resolve installation challenges onsite.
- A flexible approach to work, including occasional overnight stays (once or twice per month).
- Multi-skilled expertise (e.g. experience with general construction, flooring, or interior finishing) is a significant advantage.
- A reliable and conscientious attitude, with a willingness to progress within the company.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining a positive and professional work ethic.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
