Impact Recruitment are looking for an experienced logistics professional to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. In the role you will be responsible for managing the despatch of goods, keeping accurate stock levels, and maintaining a clean working environment. This is a role that offers job security and the chance to work for a family run business who value their team. You will need access to your own transport as this company are based in a rural location.
Role: Logistics Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Location: Northampton
Daily Duties:
- To package and label items within the warehouse
- Palletise products and wrap the pallet for safety
- Load goods onto vehicles using forklifts
- Ensure excellent hygiene is maintained
- Count and organise stock levels
- Following procedures and ensure good time keeping
- Complete documentation as required
- Communicate and liaise with other departments
- Organise the yard and storage areas
- Operate various forklifts
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
- Good accuracy and computer skills
- Enthusiastic team player and keen to learn
- Excellent self-motivation
