Impact Recruitment are looking for an experienced logistics professional to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. In the role you will be responsible for managing the despatch of goods, keeping accurate stock levels, and maintaining a clean working environment. This is a role that offers job security and the chance to work for a family run business who value their team. You will need access to your own transport as this company are based in a rural location.

Role: Logistics Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

Location: Northampton

Daily Duties:

  • To package and label items within the warehouse
  • Palletise products and wrap the pallet for safety
  • Load goods onto vehicles using forklifts
  • Ensure excellent hygiene is maintained
  • Count and organise stock levels
  • Following procedures and ensure good time keeping
  • Complete documentation as required
  • Communicate and liaise with other departments
  • Organise the yard and storage areas
  • Operate various forklifts

Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
  • Good accuracy and computer skills
  • Enthusiastic team player and keen to learn
  • Excellent self-motivation
