This is a strong opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently at customer sites across the UK. The role offers excellent earning potential through overtime, door-to-door travel, and a company vehicle for both business and personal use.The Role You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing specialist industrial machinery at customer sites nationwide. The work is varied and technical, involving fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and planned maintenance. You will be trusted to work independently, ensuring equipment is returned to full working order quickly and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesServicing and repairing industrial machinery on customer sitesStrip down, fault-find, and rebuild mechanical systemsDiagnosing issues across mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systemsCarrying out planned maintenance and breakdown response workSupporting installation and commissioning when requiredProviding on-site technical support and customer interactionCompleting clear and accurate service reportsThis is a field-based position, with engineers travelling directly from home.
