Do you have hands-on experience as an Electronics Assembler, PCB repair technician, or in component testing? Are you confident working with precision tools, following technical drawings, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards? If so, we want to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Assembler to join a well-established engineering and repair business based in Wellingborough. This role involves assembling, testing, and repairing customer-returned mobile devices and other electronic products, ensuring they are fully functional before being returned to customers. Location: Wellingborough Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (37.5 hours per week) Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent Duties: Assemble and test electronic devices to relevant procedures and specifications Diagnose and repair faults on customer-returned devices using both manual and automated processes Disassemble, reassemble, clean, and prepare devices for return to customers Maintain accurate repair and assembly records using internal databases Operate and maintain test equipment to required standards Identify and escalate process, quality, and performance issues to management Provide technical feedback to support engineering improvements Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet deadlines and quality targetsThe ideal candidate must: Have experience as an Electronic Assembler, in PCB rework, or in technical production work Be confident using soldering tools, hand tools, and power tools Have the ability to read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality awareness Have good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Apple certification or similar electronics repair qualifications are desirable but not essentialBenefits: On-the-job training and career development opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment Free onsite facilitiesIf this role sounds of interest to you then please apply with an up to date CV.
