Credit Control & Finance Administrator

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: 26,000 – 27,000 (Pro Rata)
Hours: Flexible – Minimum 30 hours per week (option for full-time)

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Managing credit control processes, including chasing overdue invoices and negotiating payment plans.
  • Conducting credit checks on new and existing customers.
  • Processing invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and petty cash accurately.
  • Carrying out regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining clear, accurate records of all communications with clients.
  • Collaborating with the finance team on cash flow forecasting and debt reporting.
  • Assisting with general finance administration and preparing credit control reports.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
  • Confident using accounting software (Xero, Simpro, or similar).
  • A good understanding of accounts payable and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build positive client relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
