Our client is seeking a Cable Assembler to join their organisation based in Brackmills, Northampton on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be a key team member of their Cables department meeting planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards. You'll be working for a market-leading manufacturing business with over 60 years of existence, supplying cabling & e-chains to various industries.

In this Production operative role, some of the duties are:

  • Crimping using tools & machinery
  • Soldering to IPC standard
  • Electrical testing
  • Building plastic e-chains
  • Reading from schematic diagrams

To be successful as a Production operative you must:

  • Have previous experience IPC Soldering
  • Have previous experience with manual & machine crimps
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and safely
  • Excellent communication
  • Desire to work in line with the company values
  • Outstanding attendance
