Our client, a leading global media and entertainment business has an opportunity for a commercially driven sports sales specialist to support the growth of its live sports and premium live events offering. This role will focus on building direct relationships with sports brands, advertisers, sponsors, and agencies to drive revenue across a portfolio of high-profile live events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow direct client relationships across sport and entertainment
  • Drive sponsorship and advertising revenue opportunities
  • Support go-to-market strategy and commercial packaging for live events
  • Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and activation teams
  • Lead pitches and commercial conversations with brands and agencies

Ideal Background

  • Strong experience in sports sponsorship, partnerships, media sales, or live event commercialisation
  • Existing relationships across sports brands, agencies, rights holders, or governing bodies
  • Proven track record of generating revenue directly from sports brands
  • Hands-on, commercially proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Experience within boxing, wrestling, football, rugby, tennis, or premium live sports is highly advantageous.
