We’re working with a renowned creative publisher known for producing beautifully crafted magazines, books, and digital content.

They’re looking for an experienced Picture Editor to join their London team and play a key role in shaping the visual direction of their projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and imaginative picture professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll work closely with editorial, design and production teams to source, commission and manage outstanding photography across print and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, select and edit images that bring editorial stories and creative concepts to life.
• Manage picture research, rights negotiations, budgets and clearances.
• Commission and oversee photographers, ensuring briefs, deadlines and budgets are met.
• Produce and manage shoots where required.
• Maintain organised image archives and ensure copyright compliance.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to deliver exceptional visual content.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a picture editing or visual research role.
• Strong knowledge of image sources, libraries, museums and archives worldwide.
• Skilled in photo editing software and up to date with digital image tools and trends.
• Excellent eye for design, detail and visual storytelling.
• Calm, methodical and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Confident communicator with a genuine passion for culture, art and publishing.
