We are in search of a top class EA to support the Founding Director of an award winning Design agency. This is a rare chance to become the trusted right hand to a creative entrepreneur in the creative space. You'll be stepping into a role where no two days are the same. One moment you're coordinating a major design project deadline, the next you're arranging speaker events with fascinating creatives or booking travel. This isn't a traditional PA role, it's a partnership built on trust, autonomy, and genuine collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Inbox & Communication Management: You'll take full ownership of correspondence, fully managing the inbox and responding on behalf of the Director.
  • Proactive Diary & Priority Management: You'll manage a complex, fast-moving diary across two businesses, balancing competing demands and optimising time. You'll prepare meeting agendas, take detailed notes, track actions, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Cross-Business Coordination: You'll be juggling project deadlines, admin, team communications, and event coordination. You'll work closely with the wider team, acting as a bridge between the Director and colleagues, ensuring you are always aware of project timelines.
  • Culture & Events: The studio hosts weekly talks with incredible guests, from scientists to artists to entrepreneurs, and you'll help organise these. You'll also support social events, design industry outings, and team gatherings that bring everyone together.

Who You Are

  • You're an Experienced PA/EA: You've done this before and know what excellent support looks like. You're confident managing complex diaries, anticipating needs, and taking initiative without needing to be asked. You have a background in creative industries e.g. architecture, design, hospitality, arts, or similar and understand the pace of the creative world.
  • You're a Strategic Thinker: You understand how to balance competing priorities across professional and personal demands. You see the bigger picture, protect time ruthlessly, and know when to push and when to pause.
  • You're Resilient & Emotionally Intelligent: You recognise that demanding roles come with pressure. You don't take things personally, you read situations well, and you know when someone needs space versus when they need a nudge. You're steady under pressure and bring calm to chaos.
  • You're Honest & Direct: You're not afraid to speak up, challenge when needed, or tell it like it is. You'll become a trusted confidante and advisor, and that requires authenticity and courage.
  • You're Energetic & Adaptable: You thrive on variety and can switch gears easily, stay curious, and bring enthusiasm to everything you touch.
  • You're Highly Organised: You're meticulous about detail, you document everything, and you never let things slip. You build systems that work and you stick to them.
  • You're Comfortable with Deep Professional Trust: This role becomes a close working relationship. You'll be involved in personal decisions, and be treated as an integral part of the team. Boundaries remain professional, but the level of trust is significant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for true partnership with your exec, autonomy in your role and a brilliant close-knit, sociable team of people who genuinely enjoy working together. If this sounds like the role for you, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your CV asap for an immediate interview!

We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process and welcome applications from all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
