We're partnering with a well-established, purpose-led arts organisation with a national profile and a strong reputation for impact. As the organisation prepares to deliver its next strategic chapter, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced People leader to shape and drive the people agenda.

This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, shaping both the future direction of the organisation and the employee experience day-to-day. You'll lead a small People team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure the organisation has the culture, leadership capability and workforce plans needed for future success.

Key priorities include:

You'll be a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, bringing sound judgement, strong employee relations expertise and the ability to balance long-term thinking with practical delivery.

About You

We’re looking for a CIPD-qualified HR professional operating at senior level, with:

  • Experience in a Head of People, HRBP leadership or equivalent senior HR role
  • A strong track record of influencing senior leaders and shaping people strategy
  • Experience leading organisational development, change and workforce planning
  • Experience of both large UK businesses and SME businesses
  • Confidence managing complex employee relations and advising senior stakeholders
  • Strong coaching, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
  • Experience within a charity, membership, cultural or purpose-led organisation would be highly beneficial, alongside a genuine interest in the arts and culture sector.
