Freelance Layout Sub-Editor – Art & Cultural Agency
Remote or 1-2 days on site
2 week period
£250 daily
Able to work hours 09:00–17:00 GMT or 16:00–00:00 GMT
We are delighted to be partnering with an Arts and Cultural Agency who are looking for a skilled Layout Sub Editor to join their team to work on a high-profile art and culture print magazine project. This fast-moving project requires someone who can thrive under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely sub-editing content to ensuring accuracy and consistency within the print publication.
- Swiftly identifying and correcting errors while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Adjusting and fine-tuning layouts in InDesign, including resizing text boxes, modifying page elements, refining paragraph styles and re-linking imagery.
- Collaborating closely with the design team to finaliae visually compelling magazine layouts.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong background in print magazine sub-editing and layout design.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with experience fitting copy into structured layouts.
