team as Product Designer.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days working from home and 2 days per week in our Coventry office.
We’re looking for a creative, innovative and digitally confident Product Designer to join our team and play a key role in creating
and continuously improving engaging, accessible and impactful learning experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in learning design, instructional design, digital learning or
education who wants to combine creativity, technology and learning to make a real difference.
The Role
As Product Designer, you’ll work closely with subject matter experts and colleagues across the organisation to design and develop
high-quality digital learning content, resources and assessment materials.
You’ll take existing learning materials and transform them into interactive, learner-centred digital experiences, using a range of
technologies and innovative approaches to improve engagement, knowledge retention and educational outcomes.
A key part of the role will be supporting the development and maintenance of our flick library within the LMS, ensuring our
courses remain current, engaging, inclusive and aligned with regulatory requirements, employer needs and best practice.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be at the forefront of how we use AI and emerging technologies within learning, identifying
new ways to enhance content creation, personalisation, learner engagement and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Design, develop and maintain engaging digital learning content aligned with course specifications and quality standards.
- Transform existing learning materials into interactive and learner-centred digital experiences.
- Create engaging learning and assessment resources that support different learning styles and needs.
- Develop multimedia assets including videos, interactive activities, assessments and templates.
- Review and improve content using learner feedback, performance data and quality assurance outcomes.
- Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of content within the flick LMS library.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, compliant and industry relevant.
- Contribute to course reviews, product development projects and new course launches.
- Support the optimisation of learning content and programme structures within digital learning platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve learner experiences through digital systems and technology.
- Keep up to date with developments in AI, educational technology, learning design and digital pedagogy.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate AI-enabled solutions to enhance learning and content development.
- Champion innovative approaches to digital learning across the organisation.
- Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues, helping build confidence in new digital solutions.
- Use learner feedback, quality reviews and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure learning resources are accessible, inclusive and aligned with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion requirements.

- A qualification in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Digital Learning, Education or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience creating and developing digital content.
- Experience creating engaging learning and assessment materials within education or training.
- Experience using digital authoring tools and learning technologies.
- A strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories and effective pedagogy.
- Experience developing content for online learning environments.
- An understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design.
- Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High levels of digital literacy and confidence adopting new technologies.
- Knowledge of AI tools and how they can be practically applied to learning development.
