Impact Futures Group have a brand new opportunity for a talented Client Relationships Manager with experience in apprenticeships to join the existing CRM team.

This is a field-based role; it will require national travel to strategically deliver the level of service required for our key clients. You must have full access to a vehicle and a clean driving licence.

The Role

As an experienced account/relationship manager in the apprenticeship sector, you will have a natural flair for developing partnerships, meeting high expectations and identifying opportunity for growth. You will use your own initiative and a proactive approach to embedding our full portfolio across the clients you work with. This is an exciting and highly rewarding role for the right candidate; you will position Impact Futures as an extension to your client’s business, this requires an effective presence built upon solid foundations of trust, underpinned by your sector knowledge and the strategies you will influence, develop and implement. The role demands a candidate who is driven, solution focused, who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and who has a proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment whilst setting and achieving high results.

The role will involve:

  • Being responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of medium-sized accounts. Success will be measured by growth (revenue) and the integration of new concepts and initiatives by you, embedding our full portfolio across each client’s business
  • Having a clear and precise TNA for each client; underpinning the delivery of your account strategy, including effective marketing and activity campaigns aligned to the client’s business plan/strategy and delivered within budget
  • Fully embedded with external stakeholders and visible across the organisation, ensuring an on-site presence and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the client’s business and learners on programme
  • Maintaining a strong commercial awareness of the training and education sector, including funding streams, apprenticeship standards and governing bodies (Ofsted, ESFA etc), taking full ownership for your own CPD

About You

  • Successful and proven background in relationship/account management within the apprenticeship sector, with a solid history of meeting and exceeding high value targets.
  • Experience of developing and presenting solutions made bespoke to a client’s needs through a consultative approach.
  • A proven background in generating business via a variety of proactive, innovative methods inclusive of networking and leveraging and extending existing networks.
  • Desirable: Understand the nature of your sector and the likely forthcoming changes to it. Understand the legal, regulatory and ethical frameworks relating to the education and training sector.
  • Customer knowledge: Know how to analyse the macro and micro environment of individual customers. Understand the challenges and motivations of your customers and the internal and external factors that impact their decisions. Understand expectations of what constitutes a high-quality customer experience.
  • Solution Development: Use customer insight/requirements underpinned by an excellent level of portfolio and product knowledge. Analyse and create innovative solutions and propositions that deliver tangible business benefits to customers.
