We're seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Partnership Manager to lead the development and growth of high-value partnerships that drive long-term business success. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded relationship builder who excels at identifying new opportunities, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering impactful collaborations. Working cross-functionally, you'll play a key role in shaping partnership strategy, strengthening existing relationships, and securing new alliances that support our ambitious growth plans.

This is a hybrid-based role that requires attendance to our office in Birmingham or London at least one day a week. You will be expected to participate in any team events or company gatherings as required.

The Role:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts across the care and health sector — building deep, multi-year commercial relationships with care groups, NHS-connected organisations, large employers, and regional training buyers.
  • Develop detailed account plans identifying growth opportunities, cross-sell pathways, retention risks, renewal timelines, and lapsed account re-engagement priorities.
  • Lead discovery and needs-assessment conversations with registered managers, L&D leads, HR directors, and clinical leads to understand their workforce compliance and training challenges in depth.
  • Build and present multi-brand training proposals — covering open courses, closed/in-house delivery, e-learning, and blended learning.
  • Manage the full commercial cycle on all strategic accounts — discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients, demonstrating training value, securing renewals, and identifying new requirements before competitors do.
  • Own retention on your portfolio: proactively identify accounts showing reduced purchase frequency, engagement decline, or churn signals, and act on them before they lapse.
  • Lead mid-market lapsed account re-engagement: work with Partnership Managers to identify and prioritise lapsed accounts in your portfolio, and lead the commercial conversation to win them back.
  • Receive qualified, briefed opportunities from Partnership Managers and convert them efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, accurately staged pipeline in the CRM — minimum 3× quarterly revenue target in active pipeline at all times.
  • Represent IFG at relevant sector events, care networks, and regional forums within your territory.

You’ll be joining a leading national training provider at an exciting time of growth and expansion, working in a fun and supportive environment in an organisation with a strong focus on people and culture.
