Are you a Level 5 qualified Assessor for Residential Childcare? Do you have managerial experience of working in a residential home for children and young people? Impact Futures Group and The Childcare Company have a brand-new opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to make an impact in the future of our apprenticeships' learners, to join our team as Level 5 Residential Childcare Development Coach Diploma only. The role is remote with occasional travelling for team meetings. Salary up to £37k (based on experience and qualifications) plus a generous KPIs based bonus scheme on top, paid quarterly.

The Role:

  • As a Residential Childcare Development Coach diploma only, you will be delivering and facilitating teaching, coaching and assessment up to level 5, taking ownership for each learner to ensure funding and compliance is adhered to.
  • Providing information, advice and guidance to learners is a key element of the role, supporting each learner throughout their learning journey.
  • Leading a caseload of learners, supporting them to achieve their qualification by way of regular teaching and assessment sessions, using a blended delivery approach (majority is currently delivered remotely).
  • Monitor, and report on learner progress regularly during their programme.
  • Manage your diary effectively and efficiently to ensure timely visits and progress reviews are conducted.
  • Develop and promote excellent stakeholder relationships, internal and external, including colleagues, learners and employers.

About you:

  • Hold a minimum qualification of Level 5 in Residential Childcare/CYP.
  • Hold GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of managerial/team leader experience in a residential home or holds a recognised Level 5 or above in Leadership & Management.
  • Hold assessing qualification (CAVA/D23/A1).
  • Hold a teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) or willing to work towards obtaining one.
