The Childcare Company, part of Impact Futures Group, is looking for an experienced and talented Head of Partnerships to join our sales team within our Early Years sector.
The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Partnerships to lead and scale our multi-brand sales function across the funded training portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for driving revenue growth, expanding client partnerships, and delivering against ambitious commercial objectives. You’ll play a critical role in shaping strategy, leading a high-performing team, and positioning our organisation as a market leader within the education and childcare sector.
The role will involve:
- Strategically lead, motivate, coach and inspire the business development team with full starts/revenue budget accountability.
- Ensuring the team are working to their full potential to secure new client growth, existing client retention, whilst keeping our Partnership team competitive and sales proposition innovative.
- Ensuring the BD strategy is implemented and delivered across the team, in-line with wider business and commercial strategies.
- Working alongside the Director of Growth & Partnerships to develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
- Performance monitoring, objective setting and coaching of the team, with structured target/forecast reviews and monthly performance measurement meetings.
- Accurately forecast against budget/targets.
- Leading on change management across the Partnership team, ensuring the team’s structure, approaches and processes are in-line with wider business growth and performance objectives.

About You
Essential:
- Early Years background
- Significant and proven sales management background, with a history of meeting and exceeding high value targets
- Demonstrable success in leading sales or account management teams to overachieve targets
- Proven in the creation and embedding of sales and/or account management strategies
- Knowledge and experience of the apprenticeships sector and the wider education and training market.
- Experience of developing and presenting solutions made bespoke to a client’s needs through a consultative approach.
- Experience of effectively planning and tracking a client onboarding process to achieve commercial success.
- A proven background in generating business via a variety of proactive, innovative methods inclusive of cold calling, networking and leveraging and extending existing networks.
- Experience of developing customer proposals
- Exceptional communication skills
- Contribute effectively within a team environment. Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Overall sound educational background
- A full, clean UK Driving Licence and mode of transport
Desirable:
- Experience of having worked as a senior BDM, or similar, within work-based learning
- Proven track record of exceeding personal apprenticeship starts target
- Knowledge of Apprenticeships and Commercial products
- Knowledge of and experience of using DAS
