Impact Futures Group are looking for a talented Head of Apprenticeship Recruitment to join their team!
The Role:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct and scale a high-performing recruitment team of 6 recruiters, executing high-level talent attraction and pipeline strategies to drive apprenticeship starts.
- Talent & Sector Spec-Out Management: Oversee candidate placements and innovative "spec-ing out" initiatives of top talent within talent pools to prospective employers across the Early Years and Pharmacy sectors.
- Technology & Automation Integration: Drive maximum efficiency and adoption of recruitment tech stacks, specifically managing workflows through Hireful (ATS) and leveraging Lily (the AI screening agent) to optimise initial applicant screening calls.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire the recruitment team, fostering a culture of accountability to ensure consistent delivery against volume and quality targets.
The role will involve:
- Strategically lead, motivate, coach, and inspire a team of 6 recruiters with full accountability for candidate placement volumes and apprenticeship starts.
- Ensure the apprenticeship recruitment and candidate attraction strategy is implemented and delivered across the team in line with wider commercial objectives.
- Oversee the integration and daily optimisation of Hireful (ATS) and Lily (AI screening agent) to streamline candidate journeys and automate initial screening calls effectively.
- Guide the team in actively "spec-ing out" high-caliber candidates from their talent pools directly to employers within the Early Years and Pharmacy sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing to educate employers across our key sectors on the financial and retention benefits of a "grow your own" workforce approach.
- Collaborate across both the Partnership and Relationship teams to encourage sales leads and identify opportunities across employers where we can sell in our apprenticeship recruitment proposition.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted candidate attraction campaigns aligned to employer needs for specific job roles and sectors.
- Perform objective setting, coaching, structured target/forecast reviews, and monthly performance measurement meetings.
- Work alongside the Director of Growth & Partnerships to execute strategic plans achieving regional and sectoral recruitment targets.
- Collaborate with Enrolment and Operations teams to streamline candidate pipelines, match employer demand, and implement continuous process improvements.

About You:

Essential Experience
- Proven track record of managing recruitment or talent acquisition functions, ideally within the apprenticeships, work-based learning, or education sectors.
- Deep understanding of high-volume candidate attraction, ATS management (specifically Hireful or similar platforms), and modern recruitment technologies (including AI screening tools like Lily).
- Significant and proven management background with a history of meeting and exceeding high-volume targets and KPI frameworks.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship standards, apprenticeship related employer incentives funding rules, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a fast-paced apprenticeship training provider environment
Desirable
- Knowledge of the Early Years and/or Pharmacy employment/training sectors is highly advantageous.
