Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and turning enquiries into opportunities? Do you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment where no two days are the same? Want to be part of a growing organisation that's making a real difference through training and education? If you answered yes, we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Open Courses Executive to join our Partnerships team at Impact Futures Group. This is an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for clients across our specialist brands – First Response First Aid, Caring for Care, and The Health & Safety Group – helping organisations find the right training solutions while building lasting customer relationships.

As the first commercial voice our clients hear, you'll manage enquiries from initial contact through to booking, identify opportunities to grow accounts, maximise course utilisation, and deliver an exceptional customer experience every step of the way.

This is a home-based, remote role, however, you will be expected to attend monthly IFG sales team meetings in person, rotating between our Birmingham and London offices and to participate in any team events or company gatherings as required. There may also be occasions where you attend client events or sector exhibitions in support of the wider partnerships team. A flexible approach to travel and in-person attendance is expected as part of being a member of this team.

This role is a 12 months fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent.

The Role: As an Open Course Executive, you are the first commercial voice that many clients will hear from Impact Futures Group. Working across our three specialist brands — First Response First Aid, Caring for Care, and The Health & Safety Group — you will convert inbound training enquiries into confirmed bookings, manage a portfolio of smaller and mid-sized accounts, and ensure every client gets a seamless commercial experience from first contact onwards.

The role spans the full range of IFG's learning offer: open courses, closed and in-house delivery, e-learning, and blended learning programmes. You are not limited to one format or one brand — your job is to understand what the client needs and connect them to the right solution across the group.

You will also play a critical role in early retention — identifying accounts that are reducing their purchase frequency or showing signs of disengagement, and flagging them to the Strategic Partnerships Managers before they lapse. Your proximity to the transactional relationship makes you the early warning layer for the wider commercial team.

The role will involve:

  • Responding to inbound enquiries via phone and email, converting them into confirmed bookings.
  • Managing the complete booking journey from enquiry through to confirmation and pre-course communication.
  • Building relationships with a portfolio of small and medium-sized clients, identifying repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Promoting our full range of learning solutions, including open courses, in-house training, e-learning and blended programmes.
  • Maximising attendance on scheduled open courses by proactively filling available places.
  • Identifying early signs of customer disengagement and working with Strategic Partnerships Managers to retain valuable accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring smooth handovers to our delivery teams.
  • Sharing customer insights and market feedback to support business growth.

You’ll be joining a leading national training provider at an exciting time of growth and expansion, working in a fun and supportive environment in an organisation with a strong focus on people and culture. Expect regular catch-ups and socials with your team, surprises in the post and company-wide social events - we’re a friendly bunch!
