Tend training, part of Impact Futures Group, are looking for a talented Client Partnership Manager with experience in sales for the Pharmacy sector.

The Role:

  • As part of our partnership team, you will work closely with small to medium-sized employers across the Pharmacy sector, including community pharmacies, hospital pharmacy teams, and corporate healthcare providers.
  • You will play a key role in building and developing client relationships through a consultative, insight-led approach, using your understanding of pharmacy workforce structures, qualifications, and sector challenges to create meaningful value for employers.
  • As a Client Partnership Manager, you will be integral to the success of the commercial function; responsible for generating and qualifying leads using a structured prospecting and engagement methodology.
  • You will identify and research Pharmacy employers and key stakeholders, developing targeted outbound campaigns aligned to sector trends, workforce pressures, and funding opportunities, including apprenticeships and government initiatives.
  • You will lead high-level conversations with decision-makers (e.g. Superintendents, Pharmacy Owners, Area Managers, Workforce Leads), gaining a deep understanding of their workforce development needs.
  • Using your knowledge of pharmacy career pathways, regulatory expectations, and training routes, you will position tailored, solution-focused programmes that differentiate our offer from competitors.

The successful candidate will be a high-energy, commercially driven and proactive individual, with a genuine interest in the Pharmacy sector. They will be motivated by winning new business, confident in discussing industry developments, and capable of identifying opportunities through events, partnerships, and sector engagement activity!

The role will involve:

  • Lead new business development within the Pharmacy sector, designing and promoting training solutions that align to employer workforce needs.
  • Generate opportunities through networking, targeted outreach, cold calling, and proactive sector engagement, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline of Pharmacy employers.
  • Develop and deliver sector-informed sales strategies, using knowledge of pharmacy roles, career pathways, and training requirements to create compelling propositions that position Impact Futures / Tend as a partner of choice.
  • Convert opportunities generated by Client Partnership Consultants, leading high-quality, consultative conversations with employers and confidently progressing them through to close.
  • Represent the organisation at Pharmacy-specific events, including industry conferences, employer forums, and networking sessions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to generate leads, build relationships, and bring back market insight, including emerging trends, workforce challenges, and competitor activity.
  • Use knowledge of the Pharmacy training landscape and competitor provision to clearly articulate our unique selling points, differentiators, and added value to employers.
  • Develop tailored client proposals using a consultative, solution-focused approach, aligning training programmes to employer needs, funding opportunities (including apprenticeships and government initiatives), and workforce development goals.
  • Take ownership of pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring consistent activity, accurate tracking, and achievement of commercial targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with business systems and procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data within the CRM and sales management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Commercial team and internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer journey from initial engagement through to learner onboarding.
  • Undertake any additional duties as required to support the success of the commercial function.

About You:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Pharmacy sector, including an understanding of roles (e.g. Pharmacy Assistant, Dispensing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Education Supervisor), workforce structures, and training pathways.
  • Strong awareness of the apprenticeship landscape and education/training market, with the ability to confidently discuss funding models and align solutions to employer needs within the Pharmacy sector.
  • Proven, successful sales background, with consistent evidence of meeting and exceeding targets within a business development or client-facing commercial role.
  • Experience of working with, or selling into, Pharmacy employers, healthcare providers, or closely related sectors.
  • Ability to research and understand competitor provision, and confidently articulate differences in delivery models, offer, and value to position a compelling solution.
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and presenting bespoke, consultative solutions, tailored to client workforce challenges and organisational goals.
  • Proven ability to generate new business proactively, using a range of methods including cold calling, sector networking, event engagement, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Experience of identifying and converting opportunities through sector-specific activity, including events, partnerships, and employer engagement initiatives.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a pipeline, track performance, and deliver against targets.
  • Experience of developing high-quality, tailored client proposals aligned to employer needs and funding opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders within Pharmacy organisations.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing effectively within a team and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and prospecting tools, with a commitment to maintaining accurate data and pipeline reporting.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
