Are you passionate about data processing, compliance checks and providing support? Do you have strong attention to detail and good knowledge of Excel sheets? Captiva Learning, part of Impact Futures Group, have an exciting opportunity for a professional individual to join our EPA team as a hybrid-based Assessment Officer. This is a remote role with occasional travelling for team meetings in Slough; usually once per month.
The Role
In this customer facing role you will support in the day-to-day processing of EPA activities; data input, processing documents and information onto our online platforms and EPAO platforms and any other administration-related tasks required. This department is a small but vital part of the company and is continuing to grow. Your role holds the importance of keeping the Senior Management Team aware of changes in EPA data, and also to make sure that our stakeholders receive updates in regard to their EPA and achievements.
The role will involve:
- Ensuring all learner information is processed on the internal e-portfolio system and EPAO platforms according to the team SLA’s
- Maintaining accurate learner and employer information on the end point assessment organisation platform and update as required
- Compliance checking and uploading all gateway documentation onto the platform
- Communicate with all relevant parties’ gateway requirements, learner assessment results, re-sits and cancellations following up on any actions required.

About You:
Essential:
- MA or equivalent
- Previously worked in an Educational setting
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word Teams and Excel
- Ability to use problem-solving, solution driven and analytical skills and techniques
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Solution driven with the ability to multitask
- Experience using student management data systems
Desirable:
- An understanding of, and knowledge of the apprenticeship market or experience of working with external bodies such as external quality assurance bodies
- Experience of EPAO and Aptem (e-portfolio) systems
- Awareness of or willingness to learn about Ofsted, Accountability framework and ESFA funding rules
- Experience of operating in a paperless environment
