Are you an Early Years Level 5 Assessor/Tutor experienced within Apprenticeships? Do you have a passion for supporting Apprenticeships' Learners? Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have a brand-new opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Childcare Team as Early Years Level 5 Development Coach.
As an Early Years Development Coach, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices to deliver a quality learning experience for their L2 Early Years Practitioner and L3 Early Years and the Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard within their place of work, whilst providing exceptional support to both learners and employers. This may include learners on a Diploma only basis. This is a hybrid role: there is an expectation to visit learners occasionally for progress reviews and additional tutoring within and around your given area.
Responsibilities
- Leading a caseload of learners, supporting them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification covering all areas of knowledge, skills, and behaviours as well as any additional requirements.
- Regularly assessing work and providing constructive feedback including SPAG and updating the E-Portfolio system (APTEM).
- Providing support to those learners who require Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2.
- Providing careers information, advice, and guidance throughout the learners' journey, allowing learners to understand progression routes available to them.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience of working in an Early Years setting and qualified up to L5 in Early Years Assessor Qualification, e.g. D32/D33, A1 or CAVA.
- Teaching qualification, e.g. PTLLS, PGCE, AET.
- You will have the knowledge & experience in the delivery of apprenticeship standards including functional skills.
- You must hold own Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
