Job Details
- School Location: Glenthorne High School, Sutton, SM3
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift & Working Hours: 6:30 am – 4:00 pm (45 hours per week)
- Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days and 3 additional weeks)
- Base Pay: £38,000 per year
- Benefits: Bonus potential up to 10% of salary (company discretion), free meals on shift & IFG uniform, company pension and other IFG benefits.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all due diligence standards.
- Prepare meals using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume, meeting high quality standards.
- Liaise directly with onsite clients and stakeholders, representing the brand.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and food handling in line with safeguarding regulations.
Qualifications & Background
- Experience as a Chef Manager or similar senior kitchen role.
- Strong cooking skills with a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients.
- People‑management experience and ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
