Making a positive social impact is at the heart of everything we do. We’re constantly learning, evolving, and improving — every way, every day. We are one of England’s fastest-growing school food providers, serving around one million students every day across more than 1,500 schools. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support student wellbeing and enjoyment.

Our brands include Innovate, Cucina, Chapter One (Independent Schools), Hutchison, and Dolce, reflecting our breadth of experience and reach across the school catering sector. Guided by our values of integrity, boldness, impact, humility, and community, you will help us shape a workplace and culture we can all be proud of.

The Role

We’re looking for an organised and creative Marketing Executive to join our central Marketing & Communications team. This is a graduate/early-career role for someone who enjoys creating content and supporting activity across multiple marketing channels. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the role will help manage incoming requests and workflows, coordinate projects, create and schedule content, and provide practical support across copy, social media, digital, video, and artwork production.

What you’ll be Doing

  • Marketing Operations & Requests: Help manage incoming marketing requests, ensuring briefs, priorities, and deadlines are clear, directing work appropriately and following up on missing information or approvals. Maintain key marketing trackers, shared folders, templates, and resources, acting as a helpful first point of contact for colleagues seeking marketing support.
  • Marketing Coordination & Project Delivery: Support marketing campaigns, projects, and smaller workstreams from brief through to delivery, maintaining plans, timelines, actions, and status updates. Coordinate feedback, approvals, and amends, following up on actions and highlighting delays, competing priorities, or capacity issues.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting: Create, adapt, and proofread content for campaigns, toolkits, presentations, websites, emails, client communications, social media, and internal channels. Write clear, engaging copy for different audiences and channels, repurposing existing content where appropriate and ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Content Planning, Social & Digital: Help manage content calendars and schedule approved activity across social media and digital channels around campaigns, promotions, and key business moments. Support day-to-day social, website, email, and client portal activity, including preparing content, making updates, and gathering basic performance data.
  • Creative & Artwork Support: Use Canva and approved templates to create, amend, resize, and version straightforward marketing assets for digital and print channels. Ensure artwork follows IFG and individual brand guidelines, working with the design team on more complex creative requirements.
  • Video & Multimedia Content: Edit short-form video content using CapCut or similar tools, including captions, graphics, transitions, and resizing for different platforms. Help organise footage and completed assets, supporting the team to build a consistent pipeline of reusable video and multimedia content.

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree, qualification, or early experience in marketing, communications, digital, media, or a related area.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Strong written English, proofreading skills, and attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset and an interest in content creation, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Confidence using Canva or similar creative tools, or a willingness to develop these skills.
  • Comfortable visiting sites as required to capture photo and video content, review marketing activity, and support brand audits.
  • Some experience of video editing tools such as CapCut would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, CMS, email marketing, or project management tools would be an advantage.
  • Good Microsoft 365 skills and confidence learning new systems and platforms.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to ask questions, follow a brief, and take ownership of agreed actions.

What’s in It for You?

  • The opportunity to build a career you can be proud of in a growing business.
  • Access to a wide range of free training, qualifications, and development opportunities.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Staff discount scheme across 850 retailers.
  • Pension scheme and other great company benefits.
  • Monthly incentives and recognition for top performers.

If you’re looking for your next step and want to be part of an organisation that genuinely makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you. IFG are committed to the safeguarding of children, and our employees share this commitment. Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which IFG will pay for.
