Overview

Role

Position: Operations Support Chef
Area covering: Middlesbrough to Newcastle
Working days: Monday to Friday
Shifts & hours: approx. 7am–3pm (40 hours per week)
Working weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days)
Pay: £26,680.00 per annum plus mileage paid

Responsibilities

• Assist with the training and development of onsite chefs
• Cover sickness across sites
• Be part of the mobilisation team
• Support the operations manager across their portfolio of sites
• Provide kitchen support when needed

Requirements / Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle (essential for this area role)
• Chef management experience (ideally from secondary education)
• Passion for food and service with strong craft skills
• Self-motivated, resilient and highly organised; ability to prioritise effectively
